Car Care Plan's products help vehicle owners drive with a plan and a guardian angel. The Ally Financial subsidiary sells vehicle warranty and extended service plans through 20 major auto manufacturers, including Fiat, Jaguar, and Volvo. Car Care Plan offers warranty products including Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance for new cars, MOT insurance for used cars, tire and paint protection, and roadside assistance services. Car dealers can also buy commercial insurance to protect their inventories against such threats as freak weather or vandalism. Plans are sold through UK motor dealers and affinity groups. Founded in 1976, the UK-based Car Care Plan serves customers in Europe and Latin America.
