Buchheit is the premier store of choice in providing rural lifestyle products, delivering a unique shopping experience with the best value and service.
Buchheit is looking for energetic, customer service oriented Team Members for all departments at surrounding locations.
Our History
Rudolph Buchheit started the company in 1934 by hauling goods. In 1936, a building became available in Biehle, MO which became the first Buchheit Store. The inventory was built up based on “we have everything you need.” Continuing over the next several years, the store expanded into several departments. In 1986, a fire destroyed the Biehle store and was opened back up in a warehouse until the re-opening in 1987. The growing trend continued….
1988 – Sparta, IL
1993 – Herculaneum, MO
1994 – Jacksonville, IL
1998 – Perryville, MO
1999 – Jackson, MO
2001 – Biehle was converted into our Corporate Offices
2009 – Greenville, IL
2009 – Centralia, IL
2013 – House Springs, MO
In addition to our Retail Store Division, Buchheit also has an Agricultural Division and a Trucking Division.
