Medecision is expanding and growing its Dallas office as we’ve secured new space at the beautiful Ross Tower in downtown. Like many companies, we are continually looking for ways to consolidate teams to enhance collaboration and agility. This includes building a new Center of Excellence in Dallas for many of our technology positions. The transition began earlier this year and is expected to continue for the next 12 to 18 months. Recently, Medecision sponsored the first She Leads makeathon, where women served as a tables coaches to high school female entrepreneurs. Attendees represented non-profit organizations or companies they wanted to develop further. Others came with new concepts and enthusiasm. ALL of them shared innovative ideas with the potential to make the world a better place. This generation has amazing ideas and just needs a little help and encouragement to make a true difference. She Lead’s mission is to close the current gender gap in business by showing young women how ownership and entrepreneurial spirit will help them become the decision-makers of tomorrow. Created by Avni Barman to bring women leaders together – the founders of Sugarfina, Pop Chicka Boom, Knock Knock – to inspire these young women. Other experts volunteered to guide the process of idea and product development via a “teach and do” method. The girls created pitches that they delivered to women entrepreneurs who will invest in their mentee over the course of five months to bring their idea to market....Show more
