They will throw you in the ocean to see how long you can float.

Cool new projects every now and then. Company parties/events/BBQs. The company works with the "big boys" and may open more opportunities in career goals. Quiet and peaceful environment.
Cons
Poor management, lack of clarity, instructions from managers and passdowns lead to A LOT of miscommunications. Laboratory is a mess, employees don't clean after themselves! The organization structure of the company are confusing and unclear. It's very difficult to perform the best work due to lack of clarity and instructions of 3rd party products. Managers will train you, but they will leave you out on the small important things and sometimes it's incorrect, which you will be at fault in the long run. Some employees will bail, hide, or excuse themselves from dealing customers and tasks are either delayed or incomplete. Time is essential, you don't want to run the wrong test. Deadlines for test runs are unpredictable, and if results don't generate good numbers then there's a chance you could be mark down for errors and mistakes.
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
You will be exposed to new technologies in the cellular/ wireless world. Great for those interested in entering the tech world such as students or those with no experience. Set working hours for part timers. OT is kept at a minimum.
Cons
Being a small company, the salary is among the lowest in the valley. Not willing to hire local talent, but rely on lower salaried out-of-state talent. The Sunnyvale location is the poor relative of the Irvine main office.

Pros
You pick your own schedule, very chill. Staff is nice and very helpful. More pay if you work on weekends or graveyard shifts. Sometimes free food from different countries like Germany, Korea, etc. Do not need much knowledge at first, you can learn as you go. More of a system learning than engineering expertise. You get to test on cool devices like new phones from different countries, pace makers, motherboards, etc.
Cons
No bonuses or benefits really. There is PTO and like certificate awards for being the worker of the month but that is it. No raises either.

The company's workflow, dependent on amount of customers present, dictates the synergy of the employees.
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company pays for training. The training is done by test engineers that have years of experience in the lab.
Cons
You will eventually have to work the 2nd and/or 3rd shifts (from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am & 12:00 am to 8:00 pm). Training is difficult if there are too many customers.
