Pros
I have worked in Executive Protection for nearly nine years and nearly two of those have been with AS Solution. There have been ups and downs over the years and a lot of second guessing where I was going in my career. It was not until I began at AS Solution that I knew I was with, not only the right company, but that I had chosen the right career path. The previous years had been spent balancing work with my search for a new job or new career. I decided to give Executive Protection one last try and applied with AS. From day one I was treated with respect from my management and my team and encouraged to grow and build. The work environment I found AS was positive and professional. The level of EP agents that I began working with was very high and the team was well respected by the client and the principals alike. As time went on and I worked with more and more AS agents from around the world, I soon realized that I was working with the top few percent in the industry. Due to the high standards at AS, there is little need for micromanaging and agents and teams are given the flexibility they need to meet the company's and clients' goals in their own unique ways. This is far different from the other places I have worked in the past.
Cons
The company is growing very quickly. For example, the team I am on has grown from six agents to nearly 50 in less than two years. Unfortunately, with growth comes growing pains. A lot of the systems and methods that were in place when I arrived are no longer useful. New methods and systems are being put in place, but there is always a learning curve with these things and I appreciate a company that is willing to look at the areas they can improve upon.
