      Pros

      Plenty of work to go around as the company is well understaffed. An employee has not seen overworked and underpaid until they work at AVX. Look elsewhere for employment for your own good. Seriously, never walk through the doors of AVX as an employee for you will soon realize the idocracy.

      Cons

      The company still manages to make money with the work ethics. Change of leadership did not change unethical culture as was expected in April 2015. The company moved from Myrtle Beach to Greenville, and has since hired all Greenville employees on a much lower payscale than the Myrtle Beach hires. Salary brackets are skewed much lower, and MB employees get 8% yearly raise for meeting expectations while Greenville hires only get 2%.

      Pros

      An extremely stupid company with no plan, no strategy, and no idea what to do. COO the worst

      Cons

      Very poor management. No real plan or strategy. Vicious culture. No one but the good ole' boys last long and they have never worked anywhere else in their lives

      Pros

      AVX is an expanding company with good benefits and relatively good pay. There is a good amount of mobility within the company, with a lot of flexibility to move departments. There is also a lot of knowledgeable people who are very willing to share what they know.

      Cons

      Training more or less doesn't exist for non manufacturing positions. Lack of organization can be frustrating at times. Difficult to know who to go to for questions.
