    Pros

    "Possibility" of making average pay but you have to sell your soul to the devil in order to do so. They do serve lunch for free because you don't get a real lunch "break", you eat while talking on the phones. Yes, the food is horrible although it's free.

    Cons

    You're taking advantage of elderly people by scaring them into thinking they need to get immediate attention to fix their computer or their personal information is at stake. They were previously shut down due to unethical practices... they've only thought of ways to get more savvier and confuse the customer base; whom is more than likely someone's grandparent. They teach the sales reps to be completely heartless, while literally scaring money out of the older customers (who can't cut and paste). It's a tacky, cold-hearted environment. After the customers bought the software that they pray fix their computer ATS uses a bait and switch tactic that the customer don't see coming... the worse part is management forbid you to push the FIX ALL button on registry cleaners because more than likely it will fix their issues and the scan ATS runs will comeback clean. The fact that you can sell a product for $100 or $300 speaks for itself. Please don't dumb yourself down in order to scoop to this low life place low levels.

    Advice to Management

    Get better training. You all are so afraid of getting shut down again that you forget how to properly run a business. Teach your salesmen some customer service skills instead of teaching them how to bully old people into buying tech support they probably don't need. Look at your employees more than just talking, negotiating slaves; then maybe you all don't have to worry about the high drug usage among your employees. Stop hiring every week and just get better leads and a more accurate system to rate and rank employees.

    Pros

    Make decent commision when all ypur doing is picking up the phone and reading a script that was supposedly FTC approved

    Cons

    They micromanage the hell out of you and have you take turns to use the bathroom like children in school. Really cant say its terrible, just need to read your script or they will fire you.

    -If you put the work in you could make a ton of money.
    -If you are a hard-worker, management will recognize it.

    Pros

    Some of the best reasons to work at Advanced Tech Support are: The incoming leads are exceptionally good so if you are pretty good in sales you can do very well, and if you are very good in sales you can do phenomenally well, management's daily efforts puts every employee in the best position to succeed, and the culture is strong that promotions come from within.

    Cons

    There aren't any negatives I can think of.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing but positive comments to say about management's leadership abilities.

    Pros

    The only real pro was the check. Money is what will make you stay, if you can turn of your morals and common ethical practices.

    Cover half the insurance, not sure if this is a pro or average for a company

    Another was they will cut a check same day if they mess up your hours, not like they pay much to begin with hourly

    Their are some people worth getting to know and you will get some friends, but it will be from the struggle this place puts you through

    Cons

    Food, though being free, will make you unhealthy

    No real tracking of anything

    Tons of interoffice drama

    Management will shut you down even if you have a idea to help the company, or steal it for themselves to keep you in your place

    Was shut down due to shady practices and they were aware of it since the beginning, the whole "we are privately funded" was just so they did not have the extra tracking in the beginning phase.

    The question you have to ask yourself would you allow your grandma/grandpa to be charged 300-700 dollars to have their XP computer fixed

    And the "US" based tech support, not really US. You may talk to someone from the US, but in the real scheme of things is any "qualified" US tech will ship it out to overseas once the time limit has been reached. Which leads to more refunds against you.

    You will get burned out from repetitive tasks, very quickly

    Be ready for the next shutdown, may be permanent

    Revoked BBB status

    Not sure which one or all of them, but the top brass is has felony convictions for fraud. Though I am fairly certain they are not there anymore, or sold their part. Could be wrong on this one.

    They are at least 30 of this type of company within 10-30 minutes of this one, not really sure which one came first but others offer higher commissions without raising your quota every month. Supposed to sell 25k one month, 45K the next, and so on.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing that they already do not know themselves.

    - Started to outsource most of the tech work even though the company stated that they were trying to bring more jobs to the US
    - Eventually the company was raided by the FBI

    Pay your managers what they are worth
