      I am quitting my job soon!

      The single most toxic work environment ever. You have been warned. Heed the warnings in this review and all the other honest reviews. Sort by date, not by popularity because Igloo promotes their fake and forced positive reviews so they appear at the top. You will absolutely hate working here. The CEO is horrible and everything reflects him. Read how many times the CEO is called out in these honest reviews. The HR responses are clearly written by him. The "HR" invites to have a private discussion are invites to fire you. To those I will leave behind, there are thousands of other jobs you can get. It is a buyers market. You are not stuck at Igloo. Get out now. Literally any other company will be better.

      Pros

      - The work/life balance is fantastic. The company is fully remote for the indefinite future (aside from a few sales and executive positions). - Most employees are fantastic and lovely to be around. (there are a few bad apples who remain as a byproduct of nepotism)

      Cons

      - Performance is not rewarded or celebrated. If you want to excel, you'll need to play politics. If you do a great job, your work and achievements may go unnoticed. This can lead to intense demotivation and burnout - Middle management and upper management are very disconnected from their individual contributors. - There is heavy favoritism between managers and their employees - Poor feedback loops. Managers do not provide sufficient feedback or plans of action for their employees, which causes growth stagnation - Compensation is just below average market rates

      Can be a great company

      Pros

      The people are great. There was a good sense of camaraderie in my team. The pay and benefits were reasonable for the area. It was an exciting place to go if you wanted to push yourself.

      Cons

      The CEO is uneven and moody. He talks about how he is the CEO in almost every sentence. This would be fine but he also micromanages everything. If someone has a good idea he'll shoot it down until he comes up with the same thing and claims ownership. It's childish.
