Cons
Currently under a consent decree and has limited research potential for the time being. As of Jan 2017 the R&D department is working more on fixing documentation than research.
Great working environment. Employees are friendly and will help you with tasks you are not familiar with. Students in the Cooperative Education program are treated and given responsibilities as engineers.
Cons
Not so much a con specifically for Atrium, but in the medical device industry, procedures are strict. The work is not easy. Most of the job is working with inter-disciplinary teams and strong communication is a must.
