Pros

Challenging sales opportunity for new sales reps right out of school, helps you develop your thick skin, and opportunity to make a good amount of money if you stick it out and get better opportunities.

Cons

Cult-like culture, no training, abrasive management style, spend before and after hours developing your own lists to call. The people who work here eat, sleep and breathe this company, and if you don't share the passion you won't last. There are no cubicles so you are completely exposed. Management does not provide any training before throwing you on the phone, and you learn by your manager yelling ridiculous things into your ear while you're on the phone with the one of the 5 realistic contacts you will have in a day after making upward to 200 calls. You can never put the phone down except during lunch which is usually eaten by everyone in the office. There are times when you can't sit down until you schedule a demo.

Pros

Opportunity to make money in long term. Large target market. Growing company. Young environment/coworkers (sales team must avg age around 25).

Cons

Long hours, must do outside work on weekends and during lunches in order to keep up with it all. Little to no information given to you as a new employee until after the first month or so. One must be able to literally scream and yell at customers in order to please management. Extremely high paced and cut throat environment. Average over 150 phone calls a day. Not allowed to sit at times and not allowed to hang up phone except for lunch hour. Coworkers and Management breath down your throat constantly to ensure you are staying loud, and fast paced. Pay is okay but hours make it equal close to 12/hour in the end.

Pros

good experience- involved in every step of sales process so there is opportuity to learn a lot fun atmosphere

Cons

terrible leadership skills from Director- long vague speeches, no coherent plan except "...sell more", pressured to work more than the 11 hour work day which is already scheduled while leadership is good at what they do, poor sales training so the only effective way to learn is by doing and copying poor pay compared to similar sales jobs extremely high turnover while leadership demands professionalism, they are not professional themselves It is obvious they do not care about reputation, they change corporate focus every couple years to piggy back on hot-technology- parent company Power Tools Inc switches between Percussion, and Axceler, and other companies without caring about an actual corporate focus. Not a viable career, only a place to learn about sales and move on, and seeing as the pay isn't competetive ($12.38/hr, 11 hour days so with the overtime, 35k a year, but your working at least 53 hr weeks)
