It’s an ok place to get your feet wet. But, not for longevity
Pros
Front loaded PTO, paid holidays, casual attire, guaranteed paycheck
Cons
Training is beyond subpar, it’s nonexistent. No guides for protocol, no SOP for individual funds. Coworkers can be condescending and very unwelcoming, with zero recourse from leaders. Extremely short staffed, staff is experiencing burnout with no relief from management. Some members of leadership speak rude to the staff. No accountability from leaders on coaching and development. Wage increases are below industry standards and not even at the rate of inflation. Even if your yearly review is exceptional, a merit raise may not even be offered. If change roles, they will expect you still perform your former role, while trying to be flexible on training for your new one. In the end, new hires are not trained enough to even stay; leaves the coordinator continuing on the path of 2 full time roles. Also, if the roles are hybrid, allow the staff to be in fact hybrid. It should not be that some team members are hybrid and others are not allowed.
