Pros

Company started in Gallatin, TN going on 3 years ago. The company got off to a rough start with some poor decision making in both Management and Hourly employees. Not to say anything bad about the people, just was not the right fit for them. Things are looking up now. Reviews for employees are being done as they should. Employees are getting pay increases on a regular bases with as much as a $2.00 an hour increase to most employees after their first 90 days of service with good attendance. The health insurance pays very well with good Dental and Vision Insurance at a reasonable cost unlike most companies. Communication between Management / Supervisors , and Employees has changed tremendously in the last year with New Management, Supervisors, and Technicians that take pride in working together as a Team which makes a huge difference in making good things happen. The support that is provided in training new operators now has made a huge difference in the success of Beretta with the company producing over 10,000 guns just in the month of February this year. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment to achieve a record breaking month such as this, but when everyone working as a Team , the appreciation goes unnoticed.

Cons

In the last couple months over-time has increased with having to work a few weekends. But Management is working hard not to work large amounts of overtime by hiring more employees.

Pros

Health Insurance was cheap. Some of the people were enjoyable to work with

Cons

Where do I begin?? First off, it is without question the worst place I have ever worked in my career. I would warn anyone that is considering to work for Beretta in Tennessee to re-consider. It is a place where careers go to die. All you have to do is look at Beretta's turn-over rate. Everyone with talent leaves or is in the process of leaving. Everything about the place is dysfunctional and leadership is full of arrogance. The company is failing at everything they do and Tennessee is shaping up to be the same story. Do yourself a favor and do not go to work for them just because you hear they are 500 years old and it would be fun to work in the industry. The place will make you miserable. And someone please explain their org structure!!!! Why are there directors that have only a couple reports with no management under them??? What a joke. Be prepared for leadership to back stab other departments and talk about others behind their backs. Some of them find it enjoyable when others fail.

Pros

Having Beretta on your resume will garner you sympathy throughout the industry.

Cons

Beretta's management has always been pretty shaky at best, but the 'leadership' that has been put in place in the last 2 years truly has no clue. A dangerous combination of arrogance and ignorance has led to a hiring trend of people completely unable to perform their jobs. That's at the heart of why all the experienced workers have left. Incompetency coupled with zero communication leads to a very frustrating environment that never considers its staff or their development. If you're good at your job, get comfortable because you wont be going anywhere. Instead you'll find outsiders with no experience being hired in over you at vastly higher levels of pay. Get everything in writing as promises are rarely kept. If you like the idea of working in the firearms industry, BUSA will cure that quickly. Walk Away........
