I have been working at BioFire Diagnostics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay and benefits. They have an onsite cafeteria but it is average at best and not at all consistent

    Cons

bad management, morale, working environment. Manufacturing operators have no real say in the working environment they are subjected to.

    Advice to Management

listen to your employees, lead by example, and do what you say you're going to do

    Pros

Cool work, great people, fantastic benefits, and amenities.

    Cons

Stagnant opportunities, despite enormous growth. Somewhat incestuous management paradigm - promote the loyal staff that all think alike.

I worked at BioFire Diagnostics full-time

    Pros

Lunch mostly covered, new facilities, parties for holidays, clean environment.

    Cons

Management is horrid. Do not expect to move up in the company or change departments, once you are in the company, you are stuck where you are at. You work very long hours in the winter to keep up with demand.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees. Hire more people to handle the work load.

I worked at BioFire Diagnostics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Loved my coworkers, the people were easy to get along with. I enjoyed the relaxed dress code and easy going style. The drive for innovation in R&D was fun and exciting.

    Cons

My only complaint was an inability to advance. I had a masters degree in engineering and was told it would take 8 years to get into a scientist or management role. That is isn't what I expected, or industry standards, with the advanced degree I had.
