- "Management is also too afraid to cancel projects that have been ongoing for a while now with no end in sight, I believe these projects will end up costing the company a lot of money in the long run." (in 9 reviews)
- "Everything I did or wanted to do was tied to an absentee CEO, who I literally only saw maaaaaaybe three times in the entire time I was employed." (in 5 reviews)
- "So, unless you become a manager, you will be voiceless and face with mobbing until you finally get fired or quit" (in 4 reviews)
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Everyone you work with is nice. Semi flexible work environment. Mostly a 40 hr work week with only occasional overtime depending on the project. They encourage employees to get involved in helping improve the company culture.
Cons
Often projects are too aggressively planned for the resources the company has. Some teams have crunch time due to poor planning from above. CEO / Finance seems out of touch with issues in the development process. High turn over rate. Pay for most roles isn't competitive for the industry. Not many office perks beyond a few fridges and a microwave.

Pros
Good place to start your career
Cons
Purely reactive-Crisis response as a strategy Terrible management

Pros
+ filling job + team + coffee and tea and other benefits ;)
Cons
- poor money - bad communication between branches
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
It seems Marek Spanel (CEO) has lost his passion for games and now does random things to stay afloat
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Flexible worktime - Some great people work here, but mostly overshadowed by terrible micromanagers that don't understand anything about game development - Could be a good company under a different CEO with a solid long-term vision or the current CEO after he takes a year or so off and his love for video games is reborn (THIS IS VERY CRUCIAL);
Cons
- Entire company is falling apart at its core - At this point, I can't leave positive or neutral rating for Marek Spanel as he seems really tired of video games (again, take a year or so off, it'll be very beneficial :)) - Many talented and experienced staff has left - The company does not appreciate its active community (mostly Arma's) enough (it used to be different 3-4 years ago) - There's no vision for the products moving forward, Marek Spanel seems to be confused (I think he needs some proper time off to recalibrate his love and passion for video games (a lengthy sabbatical or something)) - Absolutely not competitive salary

Pros
- amazing coworkers and community - benefits - working in gaming industry - good location - fun and casual mentality
Cons
- could use some sickdays as benefit
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
- If you have no experience in the gaming industry, I guess it could be a starting point since the company hires almost anyone. - There is no supervision and management is so incompetent you can basically do anything you want as long as you don't raise any questions and finish your tasks. - Some people are very talented, passionate and very nice to work with, but they do not last long. - Mini DAYZ is a cool project.
Cons
- The leadership and management are absolutely horrible, no direction, guidance, goals. The only objective the company has is squeezing enough money out of their players and deals to keep the higher ups living comfortably. - Almost everyone making important decisions, be it in regards to the company or the various projects, is incompetent. It's hard to believe from the outside, but it is sadly true. Senior positions are held almost exclusively by middle aged Czech men, some of whom started working at Bohemia twenty years ago and never bothered to keep learning because they know their buddies will never get rid of them. They have no relevant education or understanding of modern gaming. The few people who know what they're doing are carrying the entire company on their shoulders with basically no credit given to them. - The whole company is riddled with racism and sexism. Women are casually made fun of and objectified and junior female employees are often used by senior staff to push their agenda, or they will be fired. Racism is often dismissed as "hey, we're just being Czech, don't get offended snowflake". Even the partners Bohemia has in China are treated with open racism behind closed doors. - The pay is insulting. I had experience working in gaming before I started working at Bohemia and I could not believe the laughable salaries almost everyone is pressured to accept. - Crunch is rampant. If you're not willing to sacrifice entire days of your life to push out unfinished updates because the leads can't plan release schedules to save their lives, don't bother applying. Especially if you're a developer or a tester. - There are no original projects being made. The company is trying to either make the same game they've been making for decades with a slightly fresher coat of paint the community will have to fix, or they're busy chasing trends that are far beyond their reach in hopes of easy revenue. - You will learn nothing working here. The company is so far behind even small indie studios in pretty much everything you will spend most of your time applying basic industry knowledge to fix outdated problems. - I could keep going, but I hope the image is clear. All negative reviews here are accurate, stay away from this company.

Pros
Amazing people, fun work, highly recommended especially if you are starting your career
Cons
Sometimes messy and management does not have clear goals
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
flexible working hours, christmas bonus
Cons
terrible micro management, consumerist environment, no culture, no teambuildings, terrible high management, little trust
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
My whole experience here is mostly positive. Friendly collective, fulfilling job with possibility of career advancement and learning new things. Of course, i know that i'm employee for not long enough time to have all the informations, but what i see in these other reviews are mostly bu*thurt people who just want's to complain. Especially those who are writing about "racism" because meetings are held in Czech. Well what a surprise, that when you are in Czech company in Czech Republic, there is mostly Czech language used.
Cons
Yes, the payment could be little better, but things are slowly changing so i hope i will see improvements. if i compare benefits with other companies i thing it's completely average.

Pros
-I have been working in the company for 8 years and there was no real cruch time like you might know from other studios -Relaxed atmosphere, good work/life balance if you want -People around you are mostly fine and good to work with
Cons
-Too relaxed atmosphere at time -Too many pointles meetings -Too many incompetent people -Very minimal progress - one step forward, two steps back -Low salary is ever lasting issue -Career progression is very minimal - there is not much you can learn and gain new skills -Custom engine - whatever everyone in the upper managment says the so called new inhouse engine is piece of crap, is hard to work with, is lacking features and is moving forward very slowly -CEO is making no good for the company, he should simply retire or change business -People at HR department are there not for employees but for the CEO and Project Leads to find some dirt on developers, HR will not help you with anything and will not solve any of problems that you pointed out to -The project(s) you will be working on are like 10-15 years behind of current gen games - partially because of inhouse engine but mostly becuse of lack of vision and lack of modern approach -You will spend ages doing pointless work, which we be most likely reworked after next meeting with designers/programmes because everyting is changing and there is nothing like good design for features -Other negative Reviews here are true
