Pros

I worked in the Accounts Payable and General Ledger team, so my review is based on my experience within this team. Overall, the management was supportive, and my colleagues were genuinely kind-hearted, helpful, and always willing to help one another. The team had a very positive working environment, and I did not experience any toxicity during my time there. As I can only speak on behalf of my team, I am unable to comment on the working culture in other departments. While the company generally promotes work-life balance, our team was more fast-paced due to the nature of our responsibilities, so management’s expectations were understandably higher. Overall, it was a great place to gain valuable exposure and develop professionally. There were plenty of opportunities to learn, and I left with stronger skills and experience.

Cons

In my opinion, employees are generally under-recognised for their contributions, and the salary may not be competitive for those with higher educational qualifications compared to the current market. Career progression opportunities are limited, with little room for advancement. Job titles also tend to remain unchanged for many years, even when there were initial indications that they might be reviewed or updated. The employee benefits package is fairly basic. Medical coverage is available but is relatively limited, and there is no panel of allied general practitioners, which may reduce the convenience of accessing healthcare benefits.

Pros

Supportive and collaborative team environment. Team members work closely together and help one another. Good exposure to various aspects of the business and HR operations. Opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Management is approachable and open to discussions. Positive working relationship among colleagues.

Cons

Work can be fast-paced and demanding during peak periods. Multiple priorities may need to be managed simultaneously. Some processes are still being streamlined and improved.

Supportive colleagues but poor management

Pros

Friendly and supportive colleagues who are willing to help each other. Good exposure to handling multiple HR and operational matters, especially in a fast-paced environment. Able to gain experience in dealing with manpower, payroll, recruitment, and daily operations.

Cons

Management does not always listen to staff feedback or concerns, and employee well-being is often overlooked. Very heavy micromanagement culture with poor work-life balance. Staff may still receive work messages late at night (even after 3am), during weekends, and on off days, creating stress and difficulty disconnecting from work. Communication and decision-making from management can also feel one-sided, with limited appreciation for employees’ efforts and boundaries.
