Place is a joke

Pros

There are seriously no pros to this joke of a company.

Cons

Clueless management, outdated infrastructure, lack of organization, terrified employees, over rampant "CYA" Syndrome all leads to terrible culture. You would be told to do something, complete the task, then be questioned as to why you did it that way. These people hire people and set them up for failure. If you are considering taking an offer here, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

Pros

Great concept for consolidating for large companies. Base salary is fairly competitive and working from home was great. Nothing else about this company is good.

Cons

From the CEO on down, this is one of the most clueless organizations I've ever worked at. I found out 2 days into my training that they fire people on a whim. In fact during training they showed us a video and were joking that all of the employees in it no longer work for them. They don't trust who they hire- they listen in on your calls and say it's for "training". After my first two months, five people quit, and about that many were fired without notice. There was no rhyme or reason either as one of the top salespeople was cut loose. I was let go without reason or warning. I asked why and was told my services were no longer needed . I later found out that it was because the headhunter got paid a free after six months, so I was let go one day before my sixth month. The owner also didn't have the nerve to explain this to me. He doesn't think about the people he hires and the fact they're people with families . If you are thinking of leaving your job for this place, DON'T. If you interview, ask what the turnover rate is. I asked people after I was hired and was told by another employee that almost 100 people were let go without warning over the past ten years. You have been warned.

Pros

Compensation was average. Employee comradery is above average. The Paid Time off, though accrued, is on par with the rest of the industry.

Cons

Imagine a ship with several different captains, and with every different emotional whim, each captain can steer the ship in a different direction. That is the best way to describe working at BullsEye Telecom. Product offerings, company focus, expectations, and technologies change so frequently and randomly that it is impossible to keep up. There is also no forethought or support to substantiate these changes. None of the company systems are synced. The equipment (computers, servers, network equipment) is old and outdated. There have been several instances of customer outages over the past year that could have been avoided, had the company spent ANY money on proactive maintenance. There are no incentives to excel at BullsEye. Employees are treated poorly by Executive Management. Everyone works in "skeleton" crews with very few employees handling major tasks. If they were ever to poll employee satisfaction, I guarantee there would be 10%< that were even remotely pleased with their job. It is not the absolute worst company I have ever worked for, but it is a very close second. The simple truth is this: If you are considering employment with BullsEye, and are unemployed use this as a stepping stone to obtain income and find another job quickly. If you are considering leaving another job for employment at BullsEye Telecom, please look elsewhere - you will be sorely disappointed.
