    Pros

Awesome management that I feel always has my back and genuinely wants me to succeed.

    Cons

24/7 operations means having holidays off is not a guarantee.

    Advice to Management

I worked at CBTS full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked there a long time and gt plenty of experience.

    Cons

If this company ever aquires your company, do not stay. They try and comfort you thinking great things will happen and then your job will get eliminated. Before this happens I would suggest to run.

    Advice to Management

Tell the truth to your team so no surprises happen

I worked at CBTS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Corporation itself is very healthy, doing innovative things.

    Cons

The Phoenix office is a revolving door. They have a great anchor client (big financial/credit card company) but the incredible level of unprofessional behavior from the local leader is appalling. Poor morale, office declining (we went from 1 VP, 3 sales people and 3 engineers to a demoted VP, 1 sales person and 1 engineer) in 18 months, with every resource change being someone quitting.
Lots of internal politics. Until they replace the local leader my advice would be to avoid this job unless you are likely to be homeless.

    Advice to Management

Get some backbone and replace the local leadership.

    Pros

    Steady company performance
    Two recent acquisitions
    Great work life balance philosophy

    Cons

Contracted work means slightly smaller salaries for the employee
Some uncertainty as contracts can come and go - but most are long term

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and keep the opportunities growing

    "Poor Leadership"

    I worked at CBTS full-time

    Pros

Compensation was very good. In fact, they had a tendency to over pay people.

    Cons

Very poor leadership would be an understatement. Unfortunately key personnel often went back on their word or would just not follow through with commitments. The trickle down effect of this is that other employees knew they could get away with the same thing. There was no accountability and blatant dishonesty or unethical behavior was condoned and even rewarded. Many of the people in managerial or director roles were ex/current sales people. They may have been good at selling, but that same skill set obviously didn't translate to effective management. Saw many good people stabbed in the back during my time there. Unfortunate...

    Pros

They have decent pay, flexible hours, and decent benefits. The company has realized that employees make the company.

    Cons

CBTS is currently in a state of transition and is finding its place in the market. There have been large reorganizations over the past year. They are still righting policy and procedures.
