Cons
Most people are frogs in the well. They don't have any ideas about what's happening in the industry or the current technologies. About guidance, it's the same. If you join as a fresher, you wont know how the industry looks like or what are the processes in the industry. Your presence and participation will be based on how you serve the politics at the company. If you please the higher officials, you would be getting the best hike, but if you come, work hard and provide the deliverables according to projects and just leave, you're just a clown there. Some of the managers are extremely toxic. If they find you not pleasing them, you're always a down-skilled person with lack of knowledge. Even if you do the best industrial practice and hard work, you will always be a black mark to them, won't even recognise your work as good. No acknowledgement, just you'll be downgraded About flexibility, now there are no work from home options, you have to be at the office 5 days. If you urgently need something, you have to mail each and every person and make sure that you're working from home, and there are options to see in their site if you work from home or not. There are people who make use of this system and work from home, but display it as at office. If you ever get an offer, leave this place immediately. Even if you're getting any offers, these people won't leave you with a pleased mind. They would make you suffer even if it's a mistake from their side.
