I have been working at Cancom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work Life Balance - something the CEO and COO believe in very highly. They do not require anyone to work after hours. That is just preference and how you like to work. (Given how busy they are, I'm not surprised they work late hours themselves as it may be the only time they actually have to catch up on emails). Though it may be hard to get in touch with them from time to time, they will ALWAYS respond.

Open Door Policy - they are open to listening to concerns and providing answers and solutions. Both the CEO and the COO have the company's best interest at heart while also trying to putting their employees first. These are hard things to juggle and it is something that should be commended as they do this so well.

Great environment - everyone is welcoming and friendly. Everyone treats everyone like family. No need to be shy here.

Passion - everyone here is passionate about what they do and how they do it. If a conversation sounds like shouting, it's only because it's a very passionate conversation. When people get passionate, things get loud sometimes!

    Cons

It's a small company, so many of us wear multiple hats (that is not a bad thing) .
But - if you are not a person that can hang with the changes and up to taking on multiple tasks, this may not be the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening! When people feel like you're listening, morale gets better. Keep teaching! The more you teach us, the more we grow! Just keep doing what you're doing! Happy wife, happy life? More like, happy workers are hard workers!

I worked at Cancom full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent environment with cafeteria and lounge.

    Cons

Workers were not all treated equally, unfortunately. Didn't bother me, but it did itch some of my coworkers the wrong way.

    Advice to Management

Try let your workers have a light break when there's a party gathering. Not an issue for me, but perhaps for most of my coworkers.

I have been working at Cancom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great people in the team.
Pleasanton office is nice and well located. Easy commute.
Pleasanton office is always empty and quiet.

    Cons

No benefits/ no incentive for new talents to even consider this company.
    No communication among departments
New CEO - Charles Miano and COO - Alex Lindsay has no experience in their positions (previously sales nothing more), you cant ever reach out to them. It seems like COO works only from midnight when he sends responses back, if you are lucky.
Extreme favoritism of "Shawn do nothing" employees from CEO. This is very demotivating and demoralizing. He loves when people say yes to every nonsense idea that comes out of his mouth. If you don't agree, he will make hell out of your life and be force to leave.
CEO and COO are extremely unprofessional.
CEO yells at people and wasting employees time on "go nowhere projects".
Pay is terrible and no chance of advancement.
It's a chaos with unqualified C-level management that can't put processes in their services and operations.

    Advice to Management

Change CEO and COO or just sell the company.
    Advice to employees or potential
    Candidates: run from this hell.

Fun and interactive environment, people work hard and are generally all really nice folks. Pay is reasonable and dedication and hard work are rewarded under new management.

    Cons

Lots of work being done.. have to be vocal to get things cleanly accomplished. No one flies under the radar here.. too much work to do!

    Advice to Management

Keep working at developing employee relations.. : ) and be really nice to your sales team LOL

    Pros

Unknown I guess they paid you in US dollars.

    Cons

After getting a callus and getting a staff infection from a on the job site injury. Refused to help me with insurance and I am unable to walk without a cane. I have a PICC line to my heart pumping me full of antibiotics. They believe injuries on the job site are not their problem.
-My other employees were paid terrible
-I worked on a remote site and if I had a problem my boss would rarely be available.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up, see if your still in business.
