    Pros

Amazing culture, positive attitude among everyone, and a large team full of ambitious and talented hard workers. Truly hybrid--work from home 3 days a week, in office 2 days unless deadlines demand more in-office time.

    Cons

Pay is lagging behind inflation, art team is overlooked in the grand scheme of the company, and culture may be overly positive sometimes--feels like there is no room to express unhappiness. Also, TIGHT deadlines and high volume of work adds up to disproportionate levels of stress for a job that is designing baby clothes.

    Pros

Great team of people to work with, and easy work that doesn't require a lot of lifting. Showing customers around is easy. Working register has easy machines to use that doesn't require a lot to understand.

    Cons

Better layouts of stores could be made, so it isn't hard for people with multiple strollers to get by. The pay was awful and could have started at something decent. Multiple technology issues that had customers mad at sales associates. The drive to get people to apply for credit cards with no bonuses or any incentive to do it. Which could be helped by giving bonuses. Not many hours.

    Management needs improvement

    Pros

    Employee discount, that’s about it.

    Cons

Store manager is condescending, and all the managers gossip. You can’t tell one person something without everyone else being told afterward, so building trust is a challenge/nearly impossible. They also make it difficult to complain about any employee (manager or sales associate), they don’t leave complaints anonymous or do much to rectify the issue. Poor communication between management and associates, and training employees needs to be more thorough and hands-on rather than a quick instruction or video training. Management claims to be flexible with scheduling but will complain and even try to guilt trip you into an availability that accommodates them. They’ll also try to make you come in if you’re calling out for any personal reason (illness, childcare, etc) They give the idea they’re accommodating and flexible, but unless you have open or no changes in availability, no childcare issues and no social life, you won’t be a good fit. Having a second job is also nearly impossible with them because this store wants to be the priority, even if your second job gives more hours. I’m guessing everything above is primarily why they hire teenagers and have a high turnover rate. And the company overall needs to stop pressuring employees to get new credit card signups from customers, while it’s great for them when they get a new card member, they don’t realize not every customer wants a credit card; management tends to view this as an employee’s failure rather than a customer’s decision.

The company as a whole is fine

    Pros

Flexible work schedule Work home life balance

    Cons

Depends on the store you work at but most store managers get paid way more than the ASM but have close to the same responsibilities. Also, associates get paid poorly compared to other companies. The benefits aren’t really that good either.
