Pros

1 hour lunch...wish I could say more.

Cons

Leadership is reactive, not pro-active. ..strategy, incentives and rules change almost daily. Managers have almost no management skill. Rumor was that my manager got her position by sleeping with one of the top brass. No holiday pay and did not even pay us for a day when we suffered power outage. They "slam" unsuspecting low income seniors with Medicare Advantage plans knowing full well that they are often giving them fewer benefits than what they already had...yet they preach "integrity." What a joke. Good to know that karma will eventually catch up with them.

Pros

They hire just about anyone!

Cons

Unethical company & insurance practices at it's best! The "qualified leads", are recycled until the beneficiary is irritated to the point of using profanities. The management team seems to be one big unqualified bunch of know it all's! You work at their discretion, if it is slow you will get a shorter day and not make your 40 hours. They play favorites with employees and show favoritism. The benefits provided are the cheapest they can find but you still pay a significant amount for it every pay period. If you ask any questions and need clear answers, good luck no one knows anything and you won't get an answer. The are unethical and ask for you to violate insurance insurance rules and regulations all in the name of a sale. You get paid $15 an hour until you make 10 sales a week, then you get $20 a sale after with nothing coming from the carrier in which you place business with. And the company makes money hand over fist during enrollment seasons. They may ask you to work thru lunch, but feed you the cheapest food they can find and threaten you if you don't stay and eat crap after they order saying your stealing from the company if they order food and you don't eat it. They fire people as often as they hire them and then expect you to be loyal! You are treated like a child in school with respect to breaks during the day, your ever move is watched and recorded. They use the nest surveillance system to listen in on you at the office, and watch your moves on the computer screens.

Pros

Weekly salary No charge backs Weekends off, except during open enrollment No running sales calls Free leads provided Daily spiffs for number of sales Feed their employees often Will license you in other states if you're a good producer

Cons

First 15 applications you write are theirs, after that only $35 an application No residuals Absolutely no benefits You are a 1099 non employee, however you are expected to act like a W2 employee They will fire and or lay you off in a moments notice. No one is safe. No PTO or paid vacation time They tell you paid training, but don't tell you its only $10.00 an hour until after you start Very unorganized training!! Transitioned onto salesroom floor without actually completing training. They gave us the answers to pass mandatory compliance training, then treat you like you're stupid or were told when you make a mistake. The two managers contradict each other Absolutely no job security Sent us home early during training, we were always done by Noon.
