No need to pile on. I will just say that all the 1-star reviews from the past year or so are spot on. I will also echo that the positive reviews for Clare are definitely fake. I know for sure that one of them was written by the former Head of Growth (or Marketing?) - who ended up leaving after just a few months, just like the Head of Growth before them, and all the other growth marketing consultants before that - and they told me they wrote it when they were only a couple weeks into their time with Clare because they thought Clare was on a new trajectory and wanted to start building more positive sentiment online. Well, we all saw how that turned out. An unbearable founder/ceo remains undefeated in driving away talented people.

Avoid working here. It’s a very toxic environment, created 100% by the CEO and founder Nicole Gibbons. Nicole has a track record in the industry for burning bridges and is extremely mean. She is quick to badmouth people, frequently putting down employees, freelancers and consultants behind their backs and berating them to their faces for not meeting vague or unspecified expectations. She is unable to articulate what she wants (even when probed with questions) and it will blowback on you for not being able to read her mind. Not worth it. As a leader, she lacks personal accountability (roadblocks tasks that require her approval by not responding to messages) and basic executive functioning skills (i.e. time and resource management), setting unrealistic deadlines and ignoring her team. Overall, while the product may have some potential, this company has insane turnover and zero room for professional growth.
