I have been working at Coder For Rent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The only workplace that I have been a part of where there is complete transparency between senior management and staff. Ideas are encouraged, free flowing, and taken into consideration – even hiring decisions. The team is taken into account first and foremost when hiring decisions are made based on staff input and how the person will gel within the team. Self-starters are a MUST. There is no micro management. Everyone...

    Pros

Get paid, employment, learn .net stack

    Cons

    - Dishonest - No understanding of ethics - No understanding of what it means to commit - The president is a thief and will go as far as change the employee handbook without your knowledge to get away with not paying benefits - Your title is meaningless there - Your opinion is but fluff - Con-artists - Have seemingly no issue with their employees watching porn

I have been working at Coder For Rent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Positive environment. It is rewarding to see students grow and learn. Good Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k Match. Management open to changes and feedback. Great co-workers. Autonomous work environment.

    Cons

Fast implementation cycle can be stressful. Hours can be (but aren't always) long. Small team can mean you get to wear a lot of hats.

I have been working at Coder For Rent full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Fun, Team Players, Exciting Work, Technical Staff, Knowledgeable Management, Unlimited PTO, Set Your Own Salary, Free Gym Membership, 401k Matching, Paid Health Dental Life Insurance. Honestly, there's a lot to like. My favorite part of the job is that we get to see great people go into amazing careers as software developers.

    Cons

It is a very fast paced environment and you often have to wear many hats. That's okay with me, but I could see how others would find it daunting.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I worked at Coder For Rent full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, No care attitude, No commitment, No Standards

    Cons

Do not honor contracts, change policies and procedures without notifying staff, as software developing firm in professional services don't know the first thing about quality software development, recently started a training company CoderCamps, what a laugh, they are programmers and not software engineers and cannot train folks to build enterprise-scale products. The president makes up rules as he goes along. No integrity....
