I have been working at ComforceHealth full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Clients to work for.

I worked at ComforceHealth (Less than a year)

    Pros

Got paid regularly after complicated setup.

    Cons

Not much explanation of a new type of work environment. Threw me in and then had me in crisis mode several times getting certain security and credentialing done IINS (Immediately If Not Sooner) ; no warning and no coordination. Complete screwup of the first week’s schedule and pay; never got paid for overtime hours worked. Untimely communication from every department. Was taken off schedule by the employer (after showing up for a shift) and it was over a week before I heard anything from this company as to why despite repeated phone calls and emails to them. Told me I was working a contract but never produced a written contract. Everything was a pain in the butt: how payroll had to be submitted, emails promising to fix things that weren’t right, slow response to phone calls, etc. This place reminded me of some kind of MLM office the first time I visited to complete paperwork; I should have trusted my gut. Lowballed me on pay as well. Despite repeated statements by the manager to put things right, it was all talk. Uncoordinated, disconnected and completely unprofessional. Hope this was an outlier experience but suspect otherwise.

    Advice to Management

This experience was so bizarre I have no idea what advice would be helpful.

I worked at ComforceHealth (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you want to work at a place that will train you in either inpatient or outpatient this might be the place for you. Great place if you are trying to break in the medical coding world

    Cons

Downside is that you may not be with the company long as they will have a hard time placing with clients. Management could use some work also

    Cons

They don't give full pay for PTO. No 401k match.

    Advice to Management

You should give full pay for PTO. You should give 401k match.

    Pros

Typical consulting gig, although the role I was in was atypical for the company. Great hourly rate for the work, management was approachable, attentive, and quick to help as needed. Option for 6 paid holidays.

    Cons

Really drab benefit options, no sick time or vacation time aside from a one week salary bonus check on 2000 hrs of work. (2 week bonus if you opted out of paid holidays).

I have been working at ComforceHealth full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

My recruiter is amazing. She has always been very supportive. The pay is good, and I've been fortunate to have had only about 2 weeks total downtime in 5-1/2 years. We get 8 hours pay at $25/hour on our birthday and our employment anniversary.

    Cons

Everyone gets a flat $25/hour rate for holiday and vacation pay, which has remained the same since I started in 2010. That's $10/hour less than my hourly wage. We only get 10 days of PTO and 6 holidays. No 401k matching.

    Advice to Management

It's time to raise the PTO/holiday rate. Other staffing companies pay at the employee's current rate, and Comforce should, too. If you can't swing that, then perhaps you should increase the amount of PTO fir longer-term employees.
