    Pros

The entire team is great. From top management on down, everyone is very committed to the company's mission.

    Cons

It's a little hard to get there if you don't have a car.

I worked at CommonBond Communities part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Commonbond is a company with great vision and truly cares for it's residents and believes in a "community" atmosphere for them to live and thrive. Employees are given a lot of training and Corporate Management (not on site) is easily accessible and friendly.

    Cons

On site is a VERY DIFFERENT thing, direct management was hostile to the residents and too much drama/stress was caused. Work was put directly on the Assistant, that was the Managers responsibility (who took direct credit for it). There was no encouragement but much criticism and the pay was low compared to the amount of work.

    Advice to Management

Give residents anonymous questionnaires on the performance of the Management, Assistant and Maintenance asking specific questions regarding their "feelings" toward them and how comfortable they feel when they need something. It will give Corporate better insight as to what is going on.

I worked at CommonBond Communities full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good mission and providing needed housing for seniors and families. Properties are in good shape. Good starting PTO amount.

    Cons

Poor clueless leadership at central office. High turnover now and it's getting worse. Almost everyone is looking for something else.

    Advice to Management

Stop the good people from leaving! Acknowledge the company's problems and assemble a better leadership team.

I have been working at CommonBond Communities full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Has a high-energy leadership team, mission-based work that makes a difference, with other people who care deeply about affordable housing. Makes an investment in training and employee development. Really listens to people who have constructive and respectful feedback about how to make the organization better.

    Cons

I can see where it might be hard to feel like part of the larger culture for one who works at a smaller property.

    Advice to Management

Keep working hard to integrate a fantastic culture!

    Pros

Great company so far to work with. The kindness and helpful attitude here is impressive.

    Cons

None I can find yet. If you do not want to work for a large company, this is not your place. Still I must say with the CEO coming to speak with new employees at orientation, it does retain a very personable atmosphere.

    Advice to Management

From what I am seeing so far my only advice is keep it up!

I worked at CommonBond Communities full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Working with the Residents at there Assisted Living Facility

    Cons

upper management does not support there employees. They have very dishonest people in positions that have no experience. They all cover up with each other so nothing can get to the CEO. They get what they need from you and toss you out like a bag of trash

    Advice to Management

Be able to talk to the little people that actually make the company successful. Be more involved with your staff and don't feel you can trust everyone I have never worked for a company that has lost good workers and have kept two faced supervisors that will do anything to get head

Middle Managment has been poorly selected
Extremely poor communitcation within the company

    - Take liability for when employers take home unwanted bugs to their homes from work.

    - Give employees more incentive top further their education, giving credit at a community college does not cut it.
