    Pros

    Cons

Overtime is required most of the time. Been ridiculous. Pay Benefits are not that good, and still expensive.

I worked at Compact Power Equipment full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Very hands on with repairs and maintenance, you won’t be sitting down listening to instructions all the time. Opportunity to learn, teach and grow in the field. No one knows everything and everyone is willing to share. Advancement is highly attainable. Great resume builder for growing in company or outside.

    Cons

Customers will test your patience. Schedule can be tough depending on your region, traveling to a job late in day 20 miles away isn’t ideal if it happens frequently. Your management can be what drives you away.

I worked at Compact Power Equipment full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company vehicle, I was lucky to be hired before it was purchased by Home Depot and had made a good wage. I was at 35.34 per hour.

    Cons

Where do I start? Not just micro managed but, micro managed to the point that you have absolutely no control over your future or opportunity. Absolutely the worst management I have ever worked with. The now have additional management and less workers, expect you to be in multiple places at the same time, want 90hrs of work done in 40 or less, no quality control on repair and maintenance practices, if you are a customer, you will most likely have to return or exchange you rental multiple times because of failure. if you follow policy, you get reprimanded, the management blames their mistakes on their help, they use their mistakes to control your performance reviews and not give you a raise, they promote cronies, not skill!!! you cannot fart and the wind blow the wrong direction without getting a reprimand! Do yourself a favor and Do not waste your time here. I would rather work for the dump then the idiots that ended up in charge of my region. I have no words on how bad this place actually is. If you do take this job, negotiate your wage prior to your hire, that is the only way you will EVER make ends meet. Don’t let them fool you, if you are good at what you do, you will not be appreciated, only receive backlash for being better at the business Than your superiors.

    Pros

I have been with the company for years and as with any employer there are pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons tremendously.

    Cons
