      Amazing BD role establishing partnerships despite the blacklist

      Cons

      Working for a Chinese managed business culture in America doesn't work. Plus, BD doesn't exist in that culture. Big picture is not seen and inexperienced management that makes reactive decisions. They can't compete in the heated geopolitical climate with their shady business culture and how they only protect their own. I achieved all my performance goals and was cut EOY. I'm a rehire, aka proven entity, yet you can't speak your mind for positive change and the fear culture is real. Product Management doesn't exist and products are sketchy and inconsistent like the management. The fear culture is real and this is not an "American" company. And not the old CG legacy spirit. I'd stay away from this one all together. Element, ONT, PacBio, and ILMN are better options.

      Free breakfast and lunches, but you don't feel you can take outdoor breaks..locked-down

      Cons

      Hypocrite people who pretend to be your friend & then throw you under the bus, Unprofessional HR was responsible to gather my personal belongings and could not locate after 2-1/2 weeks

      Sort Lived, no sequencers placed Illumina has the market

      None they let go of managers and reps if they do not hit the 4ml goal. No training and no one has hit there number so no bonus,

      year l target 4ml the sequencers are in China. No one wants to do businees with China. They are trying to rebrand from being BGI to MGITech to Complete Genomics. The turn over in high and management micro manages team. No Diversity or Inclusion they hire Chinese people very few were of other decent. No marketing materials or CRM we use excel spreads sheets to keep track of our calls. The 2 sequencers they gave away to get KOL's interest are down and not working. They do even have a lab to bring customers in. The contracts are also an excel form.

      We are sorry to hear of your disappointment in working at Complete Genomics, LLC., which was formed in the Bay area in 2006. We are presently owned by MGI Americas, but operate as a fully functioning company in the Americas. The turnover is quite low compared to industry standards, and in fact, we have almost doubled in size in the past year. As with any growing organization, time is required to improve processes, which we are completing on a daily basis. Our field teams are provided training upon initial hire and throughout their employment with us. We do have an inside sales team, which was recently formed to help support our field sales team along with highly talented field applications and engineering teams. We take great pride in our diversity and inclusion by hiring top talent regardless of culture, race, creed, background, etc. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
