Pros

Lots of opportunities for progression, training and certification, encouragement to drive new or innovative products and projects regardless of role, friendly and down-to-earth management, yearly pay review which has been increased every year without fail, company annual bonuses, amazing Christmas parties!

Cons

Some people find 20 days holiday for the first 3 years isn't enough (though you also get bank holidays), sometimes there is a focus on impressing clients over the working conditions of staff

Pros

Flexible working, no questions asked. If you need to start early / late, leave early / late or work from home, the option is there and also supported. Great directors, they care about the company and the staff and want to be involved to continue to grow and support the business. Open office plan with new equipment. Trusted and empowered to make decisions within the job role. Show you that you are valued.

Sterile, cold, soulless atmosphere and culture Poor pay Outdated practices and technology Resistant to any change or feedback Have to wear uniform Statutory minimum annual leave Financial success not shared with staff Clock watching and micromanagement Zero trust, empowerment and autonomy Monitor staff communications No support for personal development or career progression
