Pros

The team. I had a great team of rehab professionals that I worked with that I wish I could take with me to my current place of work.

Cons

Administration and just the overall way the company is run. They’re cheap, they don’t pay what you’re skills are worth; as a COTA I should have been making more and thankfully am making more elsewhere (hence why I quit), especially considering I was giving them above average and above expected productivity levels. They want 90%, which in and of itself is ridiculous and absurd, but I was giving them 95-97%! Where’s my compensation for that? And when a coworker, hired the same time as me, as a PT, couldn’t even get a fair raise for all the EXTRA work they threw onto her already loaded plate, I knew it was time to go. I encouraged her to look elsewhere as well and it’s just a matter of time before she leaves for greener pastures as well. The sad thing is, the rehab team loves the work they do and the people they work with (for the most part) but all the complaints I ever heard were about how the company is run and how it used to better under the previous company. I have heard nothing good about this company. Another example of them falling short: I was hired (as was the PT I mentioned above) with the specific intention of receiving mentorship in our roles, but we never received it. The contract literally states that the lo will provide mentorship to new hires, for a few months, which means they are in breach of contract! I have half the mind to mention this to my attorney! In fact… But perhaps they have designed themselves this way to encourage people to leave prematurely in order to keep costs down. See this way, with a revolving door of new hires, they never have to give out raises, and most importantly they don’t have to answer for all the faults they try to keep hidden.
