    "smart people, great culture, interesting work"

    "Good work-life balance, working from home is encouraged"

    "No work-life balance; all employees have laptops which results in working evenings and weekends"

    Advice to Management

    Very senior guys around all the time. they dont need such advice i guess. They are doing pretty good. I just want to say all the best to all DCMs employees

    I have been working at DCM Data Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Extremely good IT Company and has lot of potential for growth., Also its division of one of leading Indian Manufacturing Organisation started in 1889. This is one of few companies which started IT in India (1972)

    Cons

    Around 2006, they sold off Embedded Division to Aricent which had high quality engineers in US & India.

    Advice to Management

    Need to do some acquisitions or invest in innovations & new areas.

    Less pay scale as compared to the growing market standards.
    DCM is not technology savvy, doesn't implement new technologies at work site.
    Improper hierarchy.
    At some levels and positions, you may find an employee is not fit to his/her position which disturbes the team integrity.

    DCM Management should work hard for brand promotion and brand awareness.
    Should implement employee engagement and motivational activities
    As market is growing, they should understand people will work for DCM only if they are given relatively better packages.
