    Pros

    Work is not difficult
    Hours are 8-5 unless you have a company phone

    Cons

    Can be frustrating with problems
    Negative employees can make the job more difficult than needed

    not enough training. (but you will get grasp if you want to learn)

    train lower level/new hires more. should be a requirement

    I worked at Daily Express full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Insurance was not expensive and was decent coverage. Retirement (401K - profit sharing) was VERY good.

    Cons

    Very very few raises. Unappreciated!

    Advice to Management

    Treat ALL departments the same. Start to appreciate those whom work hard and get rid of the "dead weight"

    Pros

    Family owned Company
    M-F 8-5
    Company is solvent owning all trailers and terminals outright

    Cons

    Truck drivers are not always friendly especially when you don't have loads for them
    Not much room to move up past terminal manager
    Pay is on the low side for the industry

    Advice to Management

    Increase salaries to be more competitive
    Hire drivers who are qualified and won't quit after two weeks
