I have been working at Digital Alchemy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

HR team did a fantastic job sourcing for talented individuals.

    Cons

Recent changes to the leadership structure has caused a lot of unhappiness within the different teams. Causing the once talented team to slowly dissolve away.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. The company has so much potential to do better. Focus on the core (your employees) and take good care of them. Honestly, your salary package is not competitive at all. Maybe that's why people are leaving?

I worked at Digital Alchemy full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great company to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing and database development, they offer a wide range of different platforms from email to AI. Culture is what you make of it but you can definitely meet some cool people and make long lasting relationships (but its up to you)

    Cons

Not very culturally diverse, a lot of employees with Asian backgrounds Poor upper management Not the greatest work life balance but it depends on the clients you manage and work with

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff and hire senior management with a proven background not just because they have been loyal to Digital Alchemy... Managers need to have leadership qualities, this isnt always found in people with a long tenure.

I worked at Digital Alchemy full-time

    Pros

    Great location in the CBD

    Cons

Extremely hostile and toxic environment (caused by the management team) Management team lacks leaderships skills, or care for their employees Very dull, rundown office space Dire culture with no fun benefits

    Advice to Management

With the loss of many clients and great staff over the years, my advice would be to shutdown the company and focus your efforts elsewhere - that doesn't involve making staff miserable.
