      Another small company with potential but, more hot air than results

      Pros

      This company started out great. Exciting. Lots of projects and interaction. But, then I started to unravel the layers of the onion. Raises were handed out periodically the first couple of years based on merit and then crickets. Friday lunches were a bonus and great time to converse with your other employees during lunch. Unfortunately, lunch and break room do not compensate for the cost of living.

      Cons

      No employee reviews to measure your successes. The culture seems to have changed and it's not for the better. Senior managers are not going to fight for your compensation. Accept you will not receive anything more after three years and run.

      Pros

      Lots of day-to-day benifits - fully stocked kitchen and flexible hours

      Cons

      Raises are non-existent unless you are family or close to the family. Working hours are flexible but senior management often doesn't arrive until late afternoon. No concern for employees. HR has been rendered useless - employees put up with foul comments from current employee regularly - constantly overlooked. Unless you are family, married to family, or family friends, raises and opportunities are nonexistent. Many employees working here have not seen a raise or review for numerous years. As a previous review has mentioned, a snickers bar doesn't pay bills.

      Pros

      There are some good people at DSI. The best things about working there are the flex hours and telecommuting possibilities. You can also bring your dog to work and there is a lot of free processed food in the kitchen.

      Cons

      Low pay, well under national and local averages. The flexibility is nice, but you can't pay your bills in Snickers bars.
