Pros

OK exposure for top level firms. OK Transitional job.

Cons

Senior management is NOT interested in employee growth or retention at ALL, You will stay as long as working under paid is OK for you. It will be extremely difficult to explore other positions. They'll keep you really busy and will look for signs that you're exploring other options.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand that working in a project management or consulting role can present unique challenges, especially when assigned to client engagements where work culture and day-to-day management are determined by the client. As a staffing and project management solutions provider, EPMA strives to match professionals with opportunities that align with their skills and career goals. While we oversee the recruitment and placement process, the work environment, management style, and cultural expectations at a client site are established during the interview and hiring process directly with the client. That said, we are committed to supporting our consultants throughout their assignments. If there are challenges related to your engagement, we encourage you to reach out to our EPMA Care team so we can better understand your concerns and explore ways to assist. We value your feedback and will continue refining our processes to create a positive experience for all team members, whether they work directly for EPMA or through us at client locations. Sincerely, EPMA Care Team

Pros

Pay every two weeks Bonuses Medical insurance 401k

Cons

The company doesn’t have their act together. Offered me position at one salary and came back after I accepted at $10,000 less would only split the difference. I desperately beta job so was forced to accept. They changed payroll processes twice in my short time with them. Company is not up on federal employment laws. My doctors had never heard of medical insurance they offered

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience at EPMA, we take all feedback seriously. At EPMA compliance with Federal, State, and local laws is of the utmost importance and we have specialized legal teams that advise and define our procedures. All offers of employment with us are in a formal written document signed by the company and the candidate. The offer letter states the terms of our offer, especially the salary. This written procedure is to ensure that there is no debate or confusion on verbal discussions that can sometimes result in miscommunication or misinterpretation. As far as our payroll process. The payroll process just changed in 2024, this is the first payroll change in the past 14 years. We are unaware of any other change. We changed our payroll frequency based on our employees’ feedback, who preferred to be paid every two weeks than twice a month. ‘Pay every two weeks’ is posted here as a ‘pro’, which is the consensus on this payroll frequency change. For our size, we are, we offer one of the most robust health insurance and benefits programs out there and far better than any of our peers in the industry. We offer 5 different health plans from HSA to PPO, dental, vision, STD, LTD and Life. Some of our plans require no referrals and have zero deductibles. Our health insurance is accepted at over 90% of health providers. Furthermore, when our team reported to our plan administrator that their specific provider is out of network, our plan administrator managed to add that provider within weeks to the program. For reference, this is the link to the provider lookup: https://providerlookup.healthsmart.com/SearchProviders.aspx EPMA was recognized last year for the second time on the Inc 5000, as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America today. Last year the company tripled in size, and growth is always accompanied by some challenges which result in necessary changes to processes to give the organization the ability to continue to scale. Part of some of these changes comes from listening to our teams and your feedback is very important to us. However, no organization is perfect, and mistakes or miscommunication can occur, which is why we encourage everyone to always bring up their concerns or issues as soon as they are aware of them directly to HR or leadership so they can be addressed. EPMA has continuously year on year been recognized as one of the top places to work for the past 10 years. These results are very much a result of our core values of Passion, Integrity, and Excellence. These core values are not posters on some wall, but indoctrinated in everything we do, how we operate, how we work with both our clients and our employees and that is non-negotiable. If you are a current employee, please contact HR as soon as possible so that we can assist and address all your concerns. Our goal at EPMA is to foster a positive workplace for everyone and a place that unleashes the potential of our team. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to hearing from you.
