I have been working at ETS-Lindgren full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people at ETS-Lindgren are great, they are friendly. The work environment even though it is hectic it is pleasant.

    Cons

Work is always rushed and everything is needed to be done immediately that same day.

    I worked at ETS-Lindgren full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Was able to work from home. Good pay.

    Cons

Asked to manage approximately 100 projects at a time, workload is insane, management doesn't provide any help of any variety, you just have to do it. Hard to stay sane.

    Advice to Management

Get a reasonable tracking system, it shouldn't take a half hour to order one part.

I have been working at ETS-Lindgren full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have been working for ETS-Lindgren over 10 years now, and time has flown! I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given in contributing to the success of this company.

    Cons

There are still some pockets of historic fiefdoms in the organization, but these are becoming more in line with the improved organization as the company moves to new and better global processes.

    Advice to Management

Keep rewarding those willing to make a difference.

I have been working at ETS-Lindgren full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people at ETS-Lindgren are great, there is definitely a "one big family" vibe. From management to manufacturing everyone knows each other. I was immediately surprised by the number of people who went out of their way to say hello and meet me. My supervisor became like a trusted mentor to me, and I honestly felt that management wanted to give me an educational internship experience and valued me as a person. Hours were very flexible, I was able to participate in fun corporate events like a company picnic, lunch outings, department competitions, yoga classes etc. Challenging projects made me feel like an important part of the company- I wasn't stuck doing busy work. My ideas were always heard and I was always treated with respect.

    Cons

The office is starting to run out of desks in some departments, but this is because of the new summer interns hired.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to hire interns (:

    Pros

ETSL has a really great mix of employees. Either they have been there 10+ years, or they've only been with the company a few years. I think it really shows that it's a great place to work considering the amount of long-term employees, but also shows that management is trying to modernize and revamp as much as they can by bringing in new eyes as well.

    Cons

Training could use a little work and so could team building within the departments.

    Pros

The company is very patient with your development in a position. ETS-Lindgren is moving in a positive direction as far as I can tell.

    Cons

Training needs more attention. The company has a good training record but there are some areas that need to be address to make the company even better.

    Advice to Management

I would ensure good mentorship programs are available to anyone who strives to move from their current position to a new career market within the company.

    Pros

Great Training and benefits but they were a little tight on the purse strings!

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Let go of the purse strings!
