Becomes very monotonous after your first month. It's not stimulating since it isn't complex at all. Script driven with HEAVY phone calls expected while closing. I probably average 100 cold calls to stores/gyms every day as a closer. High velocity so it doesn't prepare you to move up to actual b2b sales if that is your goal. Very high turnover and intense micromanagement. You can hit your number but it's just not worth dealing with the management style which makes you think they are ready to fire anyone at any moment. Sales is already high pressure and stress so the high velocity -high call environment is not ideal. Can't really plan a vacation since there is no quota relief and one bad month can put you on a PIP. You are definitely grinding for at least 8 full hours on top of hours of internal meetings which are basically roll call and cameras on just working together on mute. Better off becoming a BDR at a true B2B software company and working your way up to better pay and work life balance. We don't really learn how to sell or ask good discovery questions. It's mostly just pitching and pushing for a one or two call close which is a bad habit. I am out of here as soon as I get the chance but it looks like I will have to go back to being a BDR to get where I want to go.
