Pros

- Employees are great. Everyone at the employee level is a pleasure to work with. - Interesting product and niche in the marketplace. - Great history being the first which gives them an advantage from a sales perspective.

Cons

- Management is very far removed from the day-to-day operations. They tend to make decisions without having all of the information. They don't take the time to gather that before making major decisions. Hardly involved in the sales process and doesn't understand the industry or even the products offered. - The executive team has no clue what is actually happening at the management level and is making decisions blindly. - Frequently changes the strategic direction of the company every few months. - Preaches job security to employees but will cut their workforce overnight without any warning or time to prepare. - Product team builds without gathering feedback from prospects. Feedback from prospect that is gathered isn't taken seriously and they build what "they" feel is what the prospect wants. Other companies are taking advantage of this and gaining marketshare. - Onboarding is nonexistent. They will give you access to the Notion app and tell you good luck. Very hard to gather who you should reach out to for what. - Not willing to partner with other companies aside from the top 9 approved which is severely limiting growth potential and putting sales reps in a bad spot when approached. - Not willing to invest in new areas like Defi, NFT's, and Tokenization while other providers are.

Pros

* Mission-focused organization tackling financial crime in the crypto space - work is meaningful and urgent * Exceptional team of smart, collaborative, and down-to-earth colleagues who show up for each other, even when things get tough. * Culture of learning and personal growth, with opportunities to deepen both technical and professional capabilities. * A high-ownership environment with ample opportunities to make a visible impact, shape the company's direction, and grow quickly - 'seize the day!' * Exposure to complex, fast-evolving challenges at the intersection of crypto, regulation, and technology * True collaborative spirit, where working cross-functionally is both encouraged and needed to succeed * The problems you will help solve at Elliptic are world-changing!

Cons

* Hypergrowth brings a level of ambiguity and constant change, maybe not for those who prefer fixed structures and daily predictability. * Prioritization triage is fundamental - internal processes and change management are evolving as the company scales and may lead to misalignment or rework at times. * Navigating shifting priorities can require resilience and adaptability, especially as the business moves quickly.
