Sick days are not actually there for you to use, and you’ll be disciplined if you use them (no pay raises, lack of promotion/titles, not eligible for OT classwork to improve). Clients are cruel, ridiculous, constantly nasty, and know they can push back and get what they want with management or loyalty if they are loud enough. You will put up with entitled jerks every day on the phones and get told your metrics aren’t good enough (even though they claim metrics aren’t everything). Advancement is only for the chosen few, and new “rules” will pop up for anyone who tries to get out of CORE client services via applying internally before they are in role for 24 months. Most reps only last 6-9 months on the floor before they are transferred due to lack of support on other accounts (before they are ready, so they ultimately fail and quit) or they quit due to poor management and lack of support. Team leads (SSS’s) are often just your basic run of the mill specialist who made friends with the right manager.
