Pros

Relationships with former colleagues (nearly all resigned now) who helped to build the company.

Cons

Seriously incompetent management structure, thoroughly pointless and ineffectual people left behind to manage what was once a well-run company. There's not a lot new to say here: After the creeping laze that followed the period of the company going public, a truly confused and incompetent group of idiots were brought in after damaging the user experience and functionality of Monster to helm the Active ship. Unable to manage themselves out of a paper bag, these morons continued their pointless and destructive mismanagement of Active, seeing a near-biblical mass exodus of talent and domain knowledge while transferring the head office to Texas. With a single-minded obsession to "optimization", these bumblers tripped over their own feet in even understanding the assets and advantages of the company that originally led to its rise. Now they're left with a thin shell of the former company they joined. They've ruined what they found through an inability to understand or lead a talented team that lost confidence and have left them.
