Pros
Great benefits. Probably the best health plan in the world, no kidding. They feed you often (but you usually have to give up your lunch break and eat at your desk). You do get to help some deserving people through rough times in their life.
Cons
Long hours. Rude people both inside and outside the building. Everyone tells on each other. If you do something wrong the other department will go to your supervisor and taddle instead of calling/emailing to let you know what you did and how to do better the next time. This can really hurt you. If you are written up you are put on probation for a year to the day. Meaning no chance for a promotion or the ability to apply for another job within the company. Second time and you are gone. There is a lot of turn over. My training class had 32 people. Only 3 of us made it through the first year. Very strict. Most people I knew were on anti anxiety/depression meds. Good luck trying to use your time off. Mondays are NEVER approved. It took me three months to get a requested day off. I requested every day off from January through March and had to wait until a Wednesday in March before it was approved.
