Pros
1. Almost all managers have been very supportive in terms of project decisions and deadlines, and growth. 2. Peers are usually helpful and nice in general. 3. RSUs can jump your CTC by a lot. 4. Good internal set of tools so you have less friction with peripheral development of products 5. Switching teams to align your career is very easy.
Cons
1. Very few perks from the company. 2. With the internal tools available, you are virtually locked in to use certain technologies all the time to build products even from ground up. 3. Lot of dev ops work is to be handled by software developers.
