Pros
Amazon is huge and teams are very independent. In general it's a great experience with lots to learn and resources to do so.
Cons
Given the many teams and the level of independence they have some may be hard to work, or failing to get the resources they require. Usually, because they do not know how to ask for them. If you are in a team that seems overworked, change to another, most are not.
