Your work life largely depends on your manager, so it can vary from team to team, but burnout is common. Your pay will not go up even if the company is talking about how well it's doing. Expect your RSUs to slow down greatly around 5 years. As a developer at Amazon, you are in charge of the whole lifecycle. Everyone handles design, development, monitoring, testing, and maintenance.
