Cons
Unable to apply for promotion unless arbitrary, competitive individual rating (ONCE YEARLY) is higher than majority of peers regardless of role. Pay is flatlining and not competitive. Management is wildly different between organizations. Upper management tends to leave every 1-3 years, so stability suffers.
