No work life balance, minimum 10 hour days, you will be expected to be at work at 05:00 am 2-3 times per week to see midnight shift and you will get push back from upper management if you try to come in at a normal time. You also likely won’t be able to leave earlier than 4 pm no matter what time you come in. Raises and bonuses aren’t given out often, be prepared to beg for more money so you don’t take a pay cut every year. It’s just expected that you do a job that is banded higher than your pay band for extended periods of time. I did a job a band above my pay level for 2 years and was one of the only two females in my department who was also expected to do a higher banded job for a long period of time. All male coworkers were paid at the band level for the job they were doing. Culture is toxic overall, it’s a constant blame game between departments and that attitude comes from senior management down.
