Pros
1. A great deal of autonomy -ability to lead projects end to end. 2. Stretched goals and leaders who believe. 3. Age agnostic growth - the company promotes you rapidly if it sees potential. 4. Global company and good opportunity to take interact with global stakeholders.
Cons
1. Frequent moves of people (lateral or vertical moves or exits) deter sustained results. Projects picked up are dropped and redone by the successor. 2. A PPT-driven culture - sometimes greater focus on presentations removes focus from the actual results. 3. HR Managers in the org contribute to a new dimension of toxicity - This, in turn, directly impacts people's moves and growth. People business partners are heavily biased towards the opinions of leaders. There is a serious need for them to operate in individual accordance to balance out junior-level employee and leadership perspectives. 4. Stretched goals, while it is a positive trait, need to be backed up with required resources. Pushing top performers to carry the dead weight of underperformers disengages them greatly. 5. Creation of an inverted pyramid of more managers and fewer SMEs resulting in more red tape and a political environment.
