Pros
Decent pay Gas card Car allowance Cell phone Laptop Freedom to set meeting when you want Many products that can service multiple industries Diverse selection of products Competitive pricing when signing customers up
Cons
No integrity- there is a fundamental flaw with the way the business is ran. Instead of adding new customers and working hard to keep them, their philosophy is get as much out of the customer they can until they decide to leave. As a sales professional you feel as though you are selling your soul to make money. Every customer that you sit across from and sell on the idea of committing to your service for the next 3-5 years is in for a rude awakening. Service is incentivized to screw the customer over at every angle (price increases, automatic renewals, lost & ruin percentages, poor quality, shortages, delays, anonymous charges) I literally watched our district manager tell a customer "it's time to go separate ways, we don't want you as a customer" over a $100 credit
