I worked at Aramark part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are great, if full-time
Kept a rotating meal every week, sometimes more
    Safety is a priority
Good variety of environments to work at

    Cons

Part-time does not get much benefits

    Advice to Management

I honestly think you have a good program for employees, my only gripe is the benefits for part-time work. Some people only need to work 20-30 hours a week, but still need health insurance, dental, etc.

I have been working at Aramark full-time

    Pros

A company that feel like family. Great benefits, opportunities for growth and a faced passed environment. Multiple sectors of the company allow for positions in food service, sports, and uniforms.

    Cons

To obtain the highest growth options you need to be willing to go into operations management. However, there are positions available for individuals from all walks of life. The hiring process is time consuming and tends to sway potential candidates from applying.

    I worked at Aramark full-time

    Pros

My position was Monday-Friday and was a pretty easy position. They made training easy and even provided free food and beverage the whole time I was employed with them.

    Cons

The salary just didn't fit my needs so I had to seek employment elsewhere

I worked at Aramark full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Work:Home life ratio was great. Pay was ok.

    Cons

Passive management- doesn't confront employees who slack off, take excessive breaks, etc. But if you work hard & give 100% you're likely to also be given the tasks of those who are outside on the their third or fourth cigarette break.

    Advice to Management

Recognize and reward, not punish, those with an old-fashioned work ethic.
