I have been working at Aramark part-time for more than a year

    Pros

We worked with some really good, kind people. We were always paid on time.

    Cons

We were hired in a large group with absolutely no training whatsoever. There were never any official breaks, you just ate when there was a lull in the work, and good luck finding a chair to sit on! There was no place to heat up any food so you were stuck eating cold sandwiches even on a ten hour day. Advice to Management

Better organisation, less waste. Having a lunch time and space available to all employee's just seems like common human decency.

I worked at Aramark full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

Great corporate job and always room for creativity

    Cons

Lack of pay raises or advancement, went without a raise for 3 years and than they threw me 13 cent raise. What a joke from a corporate Billion dollar company. Also lack of HR support on discrimination in the work place against sexual preferences and LGBTQ. Had to live a closeted life with ARAMARK.

    Advice to Management

Work with managers to lift the employee's up to a higher level of respect and train them to be a team that is like a family. it is 2019 and this billions dollar corporation needs to get with the times and evolve with the public and the LGBTQ communities as most of the talented employee's are LGBTQ.
