Pros

Excellent community of people. Very low internal 'drama'. As low stress as possible. Everyone works together honestly, fairly, and compassionately. Leadership listens to everyone, and makes smart decisions, given the resources available. Management was the first to take a pay cut during covid. Company is very forward thinking about in office vs remote work, and has changed the structure of our office space to encourage hybrid and remote work as much as possible. Information Security is top notch.

Cons

Very few people running a system many times larger than initially intended. Each person 'wears many hats'. Documentation is non existent for developers and scrum teams. The Call Center has better training and documentation than IT. The infrastructure is old and monolithic. It was built in and for the 00's. Information security might be a little too good, it's hard to new hires and consultants to get access to the systems even internally. Expect a long onboarding process, and lots of confusion around onboarding (except call center staff).

Pros

I just started with Ascensus 1 month ago and have been in training for 4 weeks. It has been a great experience so far. The people are great! They really do follow Ascensus's Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always. They do a great job in creating Team Comradery when most of the company is working remotely. The training really helps prepare you for your job and sets you up for success and the Trainers are awesome!

Cons

No cons to report so far.

Pros

Generous PTO if you lasted five or more years.

Cons

Everything else. Poor management, plays favorites, rewards people who play the game and then expect people passed-over for promotions to train their new bosses. Artificially inflate metric standards so it is impossible to get a max raise because it is physically impossible to meet the goals (partly company-wide so not even possible to control with personal hard work).
