Pros

Free food and cab. Fast growth in terms of number of employees. Filling some words as i dont have anything more to mention.

Cons

Many. The company setup in chennai is a clear case of Nepotism. Most of the Leaders have brought their close contact or previous company couleague one level down and rule the team with groups. There is no transparency and HR is totally helpless in this situation. We are still seen an as an internal outsourcing company. We are not allowed to take global roles and no onsite. No work from home and no work life balance. Even for the short onsite trips you wont get per diem or allowance. Worst performance rating system as they dont value or cosider what you have done and do lot of favouritism for their known people. Please dont join if you need some self respect and individual growth. This management does not know how to handle senior members. No application development work happening here, mostly suppport work. Not a great place to work in short.

Pros

I imagine this is very dependent on line management but I find my team and supervisors to be true champions of a high performing and highly compassionate work culture. I find my work challenging and rewarding, and have had opportunities to learn and grow and be rewarded and recognized for my output. No job is perfect but I’m truly happy to work here and at a time when AZ is truly rising like a rocket.

Cons

Like any massive global corporate entity, things can sometimes move slowly and it can be challenging to navigate a high number of constantly evolving priorities and initiatives. That being said, AZ is very clear about its north stars and values which makes it possible to prioritize work that has the most impact and alignment with the company’s ambition and business prerogatives. 60% office attendance policy is also a bit funny when oftentimes I am on Teams calls with colleagues sitting in other areas of the world.
